We will be featuring 1-2 new love letters on Dear Artists Instagram every month.
We hope to share your letter and add it to our Dear Artists Love Letter Directory.
What should I write about?
Here are some writing tips and prompts for your Dear Artists letters:
Set aside 15-20 minutes of uninterrupted time so that you could set an intention to write a letter that truly reflects how you’re feeling inside and communicate all that you would like to communicate.
Begin the letter with Dear artists, or Dear future self
What is the topic that is closest to you heart?
What do you know best?
What are you really good at?
How can you serve other artists through your story?
If you were to be an advisor to a young artist, what is the first thing you would tell him/her?
Allow the words to flow. Do not edit.
Read the letter aloud to yourself and decide if this is the letter you would like to share with other artists.

How to submit your
Dear Artists Love Letter?
Submit your finished letter using the form below.
2. Pay a minimal processing fee of $8 per submission to help us cover administrative work needed to gather, sort, and publish the letters.
If you are facing financial hardship but still would like to submit the letter, please email dearartistsproject@gmail.com.
3. Love letters that meet our criteria will be included into Dear Artists Love Letter Directory. Please allow 5-7 business days for us to
upload the letters.
